Does the crew at The Opposite House know that well-known authors from all around the world are raving about them? During the Bookworm International Literary Festival in March, The Opposite House was home to famous writers from both hemispheres, and the unique ambience of the place (much too arty to be called a hotel, surely?) proved highly conducive to the z-z-zap of creative minds meeting. In venues around the city, festival authors were wowing crowds with the fruits of their imagination - but inside The Opposite House they were soaking in bath salts, writing in their chic studios, or chatting in the lounge, café, gymnasium — and even in the lifts. Thanks to all from one Australian author who is recommending The Opposite House to everyone he meets as the coolest and ONLY place to stay in Beijing!
