    In season 6 of Sex and the City, broadcasted in 2004, episode 12 was when the performance artist Aleksander and Carrie met at a gallery. The performance that Aleksander was doing referenced a Marina Abramović piece done in 2002 titled “The House with the Ocean View” at Charta.

    As a big fan of Sex and the City and Marina Abramović, it’s exciting that MoMA, NYC will be hosting a restrospective of the “grandmother of performance art”, Marina Abramović in March.
